DIY Pumpkin Pie Body Scrub

“It’s FALL!” she shouted into the crisp autumn air, as she jumped into a pile of freshly raked leaves, her pumpkin spice latte in hand. Recently I’ve been exploring the world of DIY beauty products, and last weekend I made an incredible DIY pumpkin body scrub that’s perfect for fall.

I originally found this pumpkin body scrub recipe on DIY Network, and it’s moisturizing, ridiculously easy to make, and has only four ingredients: pumpkin, sugar, coconut oil, and cinnamon.

So basically a pumpkin pie for your face.

Delish.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup pumpkin puree

  • ½ cup brown sugar

  • 1 T coconut oil

  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix together all the ingredients.

  2. Spoon the mixture into a small glass jar, or airtight container, and store in a cool place for up to two weeks!

  3. Note: This pumpkin body scrub is gentle enough to use on your face, or your body. Keep in mind that it may make your shower slippery, so make sure to wipe up any residue.
