Easy Roasted Salmon & Asparagus

I love easy, healthy recipes, but 90% of the time, if a meal requires more than seven ingredients (10 max), I’m out. That might seem like it limits the number of recipes I’m willing to try (and it does), but the amazing thing is there are so many healthy, delicious recipes out there that don’t require a ton of ingredients. One meal I cook almost every week is wild caught salmon and [insert veggie here]. It’s a fast, filling meal that’s really easy to customize. I found one of my absolute favorite recipes for roasted salmon and asparagus on YouTube, and it’s so easy it’s a little ridiculous. So if you’re looking for an easy, healthy salmon recipe to make this week, make sure to add this recipe to your list!



  • 2-4 wild caught salmon filets

  • 1 T olive oil

  • 4 t honey

  • 4 cloves minced garlic


  • 1 bunch organic asparagus

  • 1-2 T olive oil

  • 3 cloves minced garlic

  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

  2. Prepare the asparagus first by combining asparagus, 1-2 T olive oil, salt, pepper, and 3 cloves of minced garlic on a sheet pan.

  3. Mix well, then arrange on the sheet pan, leaving room for the salmon.

  4. Next, in a small bowl, add the 1 T olive oil, 4 t honey, and 4 cloves of minced garlic.

  5. Mix well, then set aside.

  6. Arrange salmon on the sheet pan, then brush the olive oil mixture evenly over each filet.

  7. Bake at 400 for 12-15 minutes, or until salmon flakes apart with a fork, then serve, and enjoy!
